NEVER have I wanted to come on this site and tell you guys ever gritty detail of truth... or defend myself, because its not in my nature. I'm a forward thinker and I think dwelling in the past gets you nowhere! With that said, I do want to clarify something, only focusing on myself, as I see it debated back and forth a lot! I missed a total of 3 shows during the time I performed on BWAY! Never for my entire career with DK did I miss even a meet and greet. The days I missed were because I was sick, and so all of you understand what that means when you are in a contract with Six Flags, and actual doctor has to see you, determine you are unhealthy for travel, and then fax over all the details in order for the remaining girls to be able to even get paid. For the record, they got paid for ALL 3 shows! I was burning the candle at both ends in rehearsal and stage performances for DK and BWAY. Diddy gave me his blessing for this project, as he knew the state of DK at the time, and not every member wanted to be there. If you've ever been in a situation where you have to choose bt something that not everyone is committed to vs something that has been your dream since childhood in order to make a living... then you can comment me on what your opinion is on my life. But so you understand, with the standing schedule in place at that time, I was not missing 1 show, BWAY and PUFF and all agents and managers CLEARED both sides in order to make it all work! additionally, every girl in this group knew I was on BWAY and were all in NY during a down period of time for DK in which I was performing and only 1 member D woods came, of course with a free ticket from me. I say all of this because most of my haters use the BWAY/sick days of DK as reason to prove that I was responsible for the demise of DK. and what I want you to understand is, I chose to live my dream of being on BWAY alongside of my career with DK (all at once) made as much as my body could handle... and did the best I could for the state of our group at the time. Which I said to everyone in DK at one of the final meetings, If we are moving forward lets do it and nothing else, if we are not, then we have to make a decision about how we are going to financially survive. I said I was in, not everyone did, so I made a decision. Simple as that!
Love you guys! Hope this allows some clarity, I don't ever want to be negative towards members of dk, we fought hard, I hope you guys can see that!
